Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss until fully coated. If you’re using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it in now and gently toss again.
- Place the coated chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
Cooking
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking or flipping the basket halfway through the cooking time.
- Check that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) using an instant-read thermometer.
- Let the bites rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
