Ingredients

For the Chicken Bites
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tsp olive oil (or avocado oil for a lighter taste) You can use your favorite oil.
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor) Feel free to swap for other cheeses.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss until fully coated. If you’re using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it in now and gently toss again.
  4. Place the coated chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
Cooking
  1. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking or flipping the basket halfway through the cooking time.
  2. Check that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) using an instant-read thermometer.
  3. Let the bites rest for 2 minutes before serving.
