  • 2 pieces Croissants
  • 1 medium Apple, thinly sliced (any tart variety, like Granny Smith)
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese, softened Can be substituted with cream cheese.
  • 1 tbsp Honey Experiment with different types for variety.
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • Fresh Arugula (optional) Adds a peppery kick.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the softened goat cheese, honey, and cinnamon, mixing until smooth.
  4. Generously spread this mixture on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Layer the thin apple slices on top of the goat cheese.
  6. If you like, scatter a handful of fresh arugula over the apples.
  7. Close the sandwiches with the top halves of the croissants.
  8. Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and warm them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Pair with a light salad or soup for a more substantial meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
