Ingredients
  

For the Toast
  • 2 slices slices of sturdy bread (sourdough or whole grain) Gluten-free options work too!
  • 2 slices crispy bacon Cook to desired crispiness.
  • 1 piece egg Fry or poach according to your preference.
  • 1/2 piece avocado Mash and season with salt and pepper.
  • Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • Optional: hot sauce or red pepper flakes For an extra kick.

Cooking
  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel to absorb excess fat.
  2. In the same skillet, fry or poach your egg according to your preference.
  3. Toast the bread slices until golden brown. Adding a little butter can enhance the flavor.
  4. In a bowl, mash the avocado and season it with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread the mashed avocado over the toasted bread.
  6. Top each slice with the crispy bacon and cooked egg.
  7. For an extra flavor kick, sprinkle on hot sauce or red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Pair with fresh fruit or a simple salad for an appealing meal. Leftovers should be stored separately to maintain freshness. To keep mashed avocado from browning, add lemon juice.
