  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan, minced garlic, olive oil, and dried Italian herbs until combined.
  4. Spread the cheesy mixture over each chicken breast, pressing down gently.
  5. Place the coated chicken in a lightly oiled baking dish in a single layer.
Cooking
  1. Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the cheese is golden brown.
  2. Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Serve with a side salad, steamed vegetables, or pasta. For storage, let cool and store in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in an oven or air fryer.
