Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large football-shaped baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, melt the unsalted butter and mix in the granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the brownie to cool completely before decorating.
Decorating
- Once cooled, use green frosting to cover the top and create a football field design.
- With white frosting, pipe on the laces.
- Slice into generous servings and enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to three days at room temperature or a week in the refrigerator. They can also be frozen for up to three months. Avoid overmixing the dry ingredients to keep the texture fudgy.
