  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough Can substitute with whole-wheat dough or phyllo pastry.
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for brushing For added flavor and golden finish.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until everything is well mixed.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture onto the wider end of each triangle and roll it up tightly.
  5. Arrange the rolled crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter for added flavor and a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
