Preparation
- Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries. Any moisture can prevent the chocolate from sticking properly.
- Melt your chocolate using either a microwave or a double boiler. Stir until smooth and silky.
Dipping
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, covering about two-thirds. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place the dipped strawberries on parchment paper, ensuring there’s enough space between each to prevent sticking.
- Sprinkle on any toppings before the chocolate has a chance to set.
Setting
- Allow the chocolate to harden—either at room temperature or in the fridge for a quicker option.
- Enjoy as they are, or serve alongside whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream for an extra treat!
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 days. Ensure they’re placed in a single layer to avoid damaging the chocolate coating. Quality chocolate makes a significant difference in taste, so choose wisely!
