Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pint Fresh strawberries Look for firm, blemish-free berries for the best flavor.
  • 8 oz Chocolate (dark, milk, or white) Choose based on your preference.
  • optional Sprinkles or toppings Think crushed nuts, coconut, or colored sprinkles.
Additional Supplies
  • 1 Parchment paper To serve as a non-stick surface for cooling.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries. Any moisture can prevent the chocolate from sticking properly.
  2. Melt your chocolate using either a microwave or a double boiler. Stir until smooth and silky.
Dipping
  1. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, covering about two-thirds. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
  2. Place the dipped strawberries on parchment paper, ensuring there’s enough space between each to prevent sticking.
  3. Sprinkle on any toppings before the chocolate has a chance to set.
Setting
  1. Allow the chocolate to harden—either at room temperature or in the fridge for a quicker option.
  2. Enjoy as they are, or serve alongside whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream for an extra treat!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 days. Ensure they’re placed in a single layer to avoid damaging the chocolate coating. Quality chocolate makes a significant difference in taste, so choose wisely!
