Ingredients

For the yogurt mixture
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries Make sure to use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt Can substitute with dairy-free options like coconut yogurt.
  • 1 tbsp honey Maple syrup or agave nectar can be used as a vegan alternative.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the chocolate coating
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Can use white or dark chocolate based on preference.
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until uniform.
  2. Using about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture, form small clusters and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Aim for around 10 clusters.
  3. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 1 to 2 hours, until the yogurt clusters are completely frozen.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 15 to 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted.
Coating and Freezing
  1. Remove the frozen yogurt clusters from the freezer. Dip each cluster into the melted chocolate using a spoon, ensuring they are well-coated.
  2. Place the chocolate-coated clusters back on the lined baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle a bit of sea salt on top for added flavor.
  3. Return the clusters to the freezer for a few minutes to help the chocolate harden.
Serving
  1. Enjoy your Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters as a sweet snack or dessert!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer. They can last for up to a month. Ensure each cluster is thoroughly coated to maximize chocolate flavor. For extra crunch, consider adding granola or chopped nuts to the yogurt mixture before freezing.
