  • 4 pieces bagels (choose your favorite flavor)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Use room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute with Monterey Jack or pepper jack.
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled Turkey bacon works too!
  • 2 tablespoons chives or green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bagels in half and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, and chopped chives. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Generously spread the creamy mixture over each bagel half.
  5. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melty and the bagels are warm.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-10 minutes until heated through. You can freeze baked bagels for up to a month.
