  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter option
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the chicken
  • Salt and pepper to taste For seasoning
  • Parmesan cheese For garnishing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Generously season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken in the skillet and sear for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a plate.
  5. Pour the heavy cream and pesto sauce into the same skillet. Stir until well combined and heated.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, ensuring it’s fully coated with the creamy sauce.
  7. Let everything warm together for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For best results, ensure chicken is at room temperature before cooking. Experiment with additional ingredients like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
