  • 2 units eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Use panko for extra crunch.
  • Cooking spray For achieving a crispy finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel the onion and slice off the top. Carefully cut into wedges, being cautious not to cut all the way through the bottom.
Breading the Onion
  1. In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until well blended.
  3. Dip the onion into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Place the onion in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with cooking oil.
  2. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
