Ingredients
  

Burger Mixture
  • 1 lb ground beef Use 80/20 fat content for juicy burgers.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) Add for spice.
  • ½ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing Or substitute with Greek yogurt mixed with herbs.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Buns and Toppings
  • 4 pieces brioche buns Can substitute with whole wheat or gluten-free buns.
  • 2 tablespoons butter For toasting the buns.
  • Lettuce, tomato, and pickles (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  2. Fold in crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, and Worcestershire sauce until evenly coated.
  3. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty, pressing down in the center for even cooking.
Cooking
  1. Heat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is reached.
  2. While burgers cook, butter the insides of brioche buns and toast until golden brown.
Assembly
  1. Place each burger patty on a toasted bun and top with lettuce, tomato, and pickles as desired.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or skillet. Freeze uncooked patties to prevent freezer burn.
