  • 1 cup bread crumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs for a dietary option.
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour if desired.
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder Adjust to taste for spice level.
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying Use enough oil for shallow frying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken pieces with red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes to absorb the spices.
Breading
  1. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for the flour, another for the beaten egg, and a third for the bread crumbs.
  2. Take each marinated chicken piece, dip it first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat it with bread crumbs.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot.
  2. Fry the chicken nuggets in batches until they turn golden brown and are cooked through, about 4-5 minutes for each batch.
  3. Use a slotted spoon to remove them, draining on paper towels.
Serving
  1. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce for an irresistible treat!

Notes

For an extra crunchy texture, double-coat the nuggets. Experiment with spices for different flavors. Ensure oil is hot to avoid greasy nuggets.
