Ingredients
  

For the Kataifi Base
  • 1 cup kataifi, shredded
  • 4 ounces butter (melted)
For the Filling
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • ½ cup pistachio butter
  • ½ cup melted chocolate (dark, milk, or white as preferred)
  • Fresh strawberries halved Use the ripest strawberries for maximum flavor.

Method
 

Preparation of Kataifi Base
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded kataifi with melted butter until fully coated.
  3. Spread it evenly in a baking dish and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool.
Mixing
  1. Once the kataifi has cooled, combine it with pistachio butter and tahini. Stir well.
Preparing Strawberries
  1. Rinse and halve your fresh strawberries.
Assembly
  1. In serving cups, layer the kataifi mixture, followed by halved strawberries and drizzle some melted chocolate.
  2. Continue layering until the cups are filled, finishing with chocolate on top.
Final Touches
  1. Sprinkle a few crushed pistachios or a dusting of cocoa powder on top before serving.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or ice cream for an elevated experience. Refrigerate for about an hour before serving for a refreshing effect.
