Ingredients
  

Brownie Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs can be substituted with flax eggs or applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Decoration Ingredients
  • chocolate frosting for decoration
  • white chocolate or icing for laces

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Grease a football-shaped brownie pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  3. Melt the butter in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Stir in the granulated sugar until the mixture becomes glossy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  6. Mix in the vanilla extract.
Mixing
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared football-shaped pan and bake for 20–25 minutes.
  2. A toothpick inserted should come out with a few moist crumbs attached.
  3. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before frosting them with chocolate frosting and piping white chocolate laces on top.

Notes

These brownies can be served warm, at room temperature, or chilled. For an extra touch, you could dust them with powdered sugar, serve alongside ice cream, or pair them with fresh strawberries.
