Ingredients

Brownie Ingredients
  • 1 box brownie mix Choose your favorite flavor
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil Can substitute with melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup hot coffee Can substitute with water or milk if desired
  • 1 large egg Adds moisture and richness to the brownies
Ganache Ingredients
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use high-quality for better flavor
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream Can use half-and-half or whole milk as a substitute
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips For decorating with football designs

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper. For thicker brownies, opt for an 8×8 or 9×9 pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, oil, hot coffee, and the egg. Whisk until fully combined.
  3. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  4. Allow the brownies to cool completely. If they feel soft, chill them in the freezer for 10-15 minutes for easier handling.
Making Ganache
  1. Prepare the chocolate ganache by combining the chocolate chips and hot heavy cream in a medium bowl.
  2. Let it sit for a few minutes before whisking until smooth.
Assembly
  1. Dip the tops of the cooled brownies into the warm ganache, and then place them back onto the baking sheet.
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring in between to avoid burning.
  3. Transfer the melted white chocolate to a piping bag or ziplock bag with the tip cut off to create football designs on your brownies.
  4. Allow your decorated brownies to set in the fridge before serving.

Notes

Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Refrigerate for an additional week or freeze for up to 3 months. Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor.
