Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the brownie mix, oil, hot coffee, and the egg until fully combined.
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan and bake for approximately 20 minutes. A toothpick inserted should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely. If they feel soft, pop them in the freezer for 10-15 minutes for easier handling.
- Once cooled, use a football cookie cutter to create playful shapes.
Making Ganache
- Make the chocolate ganache by combining chocolate chips and hot heavy cream in a medium bowl. Let it sit briefly, then stir until smooth.
- Dip the tops of the cooled brownies into the warm ganache and place them back onto the baking sheet.
Decorating
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second increments and stirring in between.
- Pour the melted white chocolate into a piping bag to create fun football designs on top.
- Allow your decorated brownies to set in the fridge before serving.
Notes
These brownies taste great on their own or served with ice cream or whipped cream. Consider adding vanilla extract or additional chocolate chips for variations. Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
