  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped Adds moisture and flavor.
  • 1/2 cup milk Provides moisture.
  • 1 large egg, beaten Acts as a binder.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Adds flavor depth.
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped For freshness and color.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, finely chopped onion, milk, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and parsley.
  3. Gently mix the ingredients until just combined to avoid a dense texture.
  4. Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan and press down lightly to create an even surface.
Cooking
  1. Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 45-55 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  2. Once done, allow the meatloaf to rest for 5-10 minutes in the pan before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using fresh grated Parmesan and adding red pepper flakes for heat. Let the meatloaf rest after baking to keep it moist. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
