Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, cooking until it’s browned, and drain any excess fat.
- Stir in chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes soft and fragrant.
- Layer the cooked beef into the greased dish, followed by the thinly sliced potatoes. Season the layers with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
- Generously top with shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan cheese. Pour beef broth around the edges for added moisture.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Can freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight before reheating in the oven at 350°F (175°C).
