Method
 

Preparation and Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Spread the beef mixture into the greased baking dish evenly.
  5. Layer the thinly sliced potatoes on top, seasoning with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and a dash of paprika for extra flavor.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheeses over the potatoes, making it cheesy goodness!
  7. Pour the beef broth around the edges of the dish for moisture.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Notes

You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option or use cream of mushroom soup for a creamier texture.
