  • 1/4 cup honey Can substitute with maple syrup for a unique twist.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances the dish significantly.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Can substitute with tamari for a gluten-free version or coconut aminos.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice Can swap with lemon or orange for a citrus twist.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season generously.
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the salmon fillets into bite-sized pieces, then season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lime juice until smooth.
  4. Arrange the seasoned salmon bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Brush the honey garlic mixture generously over each piece of salmon.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork.
  2. Before serving, sprinkle with freshly chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra caramelization, broil the salmon bites for the last 2-3 minutes of baking. You can marinate the salmon for 15-30 minutes to infuse flavor more quickly.
