  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Tamari can be used for gluten-free
  • 2 cups cooked rice For serving
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger, stirring until fragrant.
  3. Incorporate the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Continue until browned.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, mixing well and allowing to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve the seasoned beef over the cooked rice.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before enjoying.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the beef in soy sauce before cooking. You can add veggies like bell peppers, carrots, or snap peas to the skillet for extra nutrition. Consider serving with steamed vegetables or an Asian-style cucumber salad for a complete meal.
