Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 filets salmon filets, 6 oz each
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder Feel free to swap for fresh minced garlic for more flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by preheating your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray it with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  3. Carefully place the salmon filets on the pan, skin-side down, and brush generously with melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle the salmon with paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-16 minutes, until the thickest part reaches 145°F (63°C) on an instant-read thermometer.
  2. Serve with fresh lemon slices and a sprinkle of dill.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, place the salmon under the broiler for the last 2 minutes of cooking. Store leftovers tightly wrapped for about 3 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for longer storage.
