  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted Can substitute with dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
  • Sea salt, to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even cooking.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  3. Spread the pretzel sticks in an even layer on the baking sheet.
Make the Caramel
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture bubbles and thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Bake and Finish
  1. Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the pretzels, using a spatula to ensure every stick is coated.
  2. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  3. Remove from the oven, drizzle melted chocolate chips over the top, and sprinkle with sea salt.
  4. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
