Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Scramble the eggs in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, seasoning them with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook the sausage links in the same skillet until they are heated through, then crumble them.
- Combine the cooked sausage and scrambled eggs in a bowl. If you wish, stir in some shredded cheese for an extra creamy texture.
Assembly
- Unroll the crescent dough and arrange the filling along the wide ends of the triangle shapes.
- Roll each triangle from the wide end towards the narrow tip, placing them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Baking
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and fragrant.
- Let cool briefly before serving to avoid burning your mouth on the hot filling!
Notes
Enjoy these roll-ups with a side of fresh fruit, sour cream, or zesty salsa verde. They can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
