Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, flour, baking powder, milk, vanilla, and salt. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the melted butter without stirring.
- Neatly arrange sliced bananas on top of the batter.
Baking
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to two months. For a twist, try adding cinnamon or nuts!
